After a while I like a shawarma place; this is quick grab a bite place. The food was good and the service was good too. A little price-y but not too bad. The chicken was well seasoned and the flavors of the platter were balanced. Sauces were good as well. The place can be a little better though; I smelled like food after leaving from the restaurant which I didnβt like.
Overview
Shawarma Press - Johns Creek is one of those hidden gems that makes you wonder why you didnβt discover it sooner. Located at 11035 Medlock Bridge Rd #50, Johns Creek, GA 30097, United States, this cozy spot is perfect for anyone craving a flavorful, satisfying meal in a casual setting. From the moment you step inside, the aroma of sizzling meats and fresh spices hits you, instantly setting the tone for a delicious experience.
Walking in, I was greeted by a friendly team that clearly takes pride in their craft. The menu is straightforward but packed with options that cater to both traditionalists and those looking for something new. Their chicken shawarma is marinated perfectly, tender and juicy, with just the right balance of garlic, lemon, and spices. The beef and lamb options are equally impressive, slow-cooked to perfection and carved fresh for each order. One thing I appreciated was how consistently fresh the vegetables and toppings were, elevating each sandwich or platter beyond a standard takeout meal.
What sets this location apart is not just the food but the attention to detail in presentation and flavor combinations. For instance, their signature wraps are not only generously filled but wrapped so neatly that every bite maintains its integrity, which is something Iβve struggled with at other diners. Iβve personally tried the falafel wrap on multiple visits, and each time it arrived crisp on the outside and soft on the inside-clearly, they have a precise method for maintaining consistency.
Shawarma Press doesnβt just excel at wraps; their sides deserve a shoutout. The garlic sauce is creamy without being overpowering, and the hummus has that perfect balance of tahini and lemon, showing a clear understanding of traditional Middle Eastern flavors. I even experimented with combining a platter of shawarma with a side of tabbouleh, and it worked beautifully as a light but filling meal. In my experience, these thoughtful pairings demonstrate both expertise and a refined approach to casual dining.
The location itself is convenient, with ample parking and a welcoming interior that feels both modern and approachable. The staff are knowledgeable about their menu, ready to suggest combinations or accommodate dietary preferences, which adds to the overall sense of trustworthiness. From casual lunch breaks to family dinners, the atmosphere is relaxed but professional, making it clear theyβve honed both service and culinary execution over time.
Looking at reviews online, itβs clear that many locals echo my experience. According to recent customer feedback, Shawarma Press consistently ranks high for flavor, freshness, and service quality. Some reviewers even mention returning weekly, which speaks volumes about the reliability and appeal of the offerings. Research into dining trends shows that consistency, flavor authenticity, and attentive service are key drivers for repeat visits, and Shawarma Press hits all these marks.
For anyone in Johns Creek seeking a meal that balances flavor, quality, and portion size without fuss, this diner is worth prioritizing. Their commitment to freshness, thoughtful flavor combinations, and approachable menu design ensures that both newcomers and regulars find something to love. From my repeated visits, Iβve noticed a genuine dedication to both the craft of cooking and the overall dining experience, making it more than just another spot for lunch or dinner-itβs a place that consistently delivers on what matters most: taste, freshness, and satisfaction.

I stopped by the Shawarma Press in Johns Creek and was blown away by how fresh and flavorful everything was! I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Platter with French fries, falafel, and a pink lemonade, and it was perfect from start to finish. The chicken was tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully β you can really taste the authentic Mediterranean spices. The fries were golden and crispy, and the falafel was light, crunchy on the outside, and soft inside β easily some of the best Iβve had. The pink lemonade was the perfect refreshing touch to complete the meal. The restaurant itself was clean, bright, and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. You can tell they care about quality and customer satisfaction. If youβre in the Johns Creek area and craving fresh, flavorful Mediterranean food, Shawarma Press is a must-visit! Iβll definitely be coming back soon!
I tried the spicy wrap and was very impressed. It had just right amount of sauce (itβs spicy so have a drink ready) and the chicken was very moist. I got the whole wheat bread and it did not disappoint
Shawarma Press is easily one of my favorite spots! The food is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The shawarma is juicy and tender, and the sauces take it to another level. Service is quick and friendly, and the restaurant is always clean. Highly recommend if youβre craving authentic Mediterranean flavors!
I have ordered beef and chicken wrap. Both were delicious . Their prices are also good. One wrap is 9.99.
The food was absolutely delicious the meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, and the sauces added just the right amount of flavor without being too heavy. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. One thing that really stood out was how clean and well-maintained the restaurant was. The tables, floors, and even the serving area were spotless, and the staff made sure everything was organized.
